Alley celebrates her birthday on Saturday, January 12. She is
a Capricorn with the Moon in Virgo, and a Cancer Signature (meaning
she has a majority of planets in Water and Cardinal signs).
When people think of sex appeal and astrology, they usually come up with the signs of Leo and Scorpio, but the truth is it is the Earth signs which have the most sex appeal. With both the Sun and the Moon in Earth signs, Kirstie has a great deal of sensuality and sex appeal. This appeal has been used to the full in many of her roles, including the buxom Virgilia in the 1985 mini-series North and South. It is made all the more subtle by the Cancer influence, which combined with the Capricorn and Virgo indicate a vulnerability which is all too real. Kirstie has a lot of problems with emotional insecurity, and quite possibly compensates by making sure that her material security is always in good shape. March, August and Decmeber are likely to be difficult months for Kirstie, as recently events mave have been such that she has had various ties from the past, which may be threatening to her security. The pervading theme for the year for her is to let go of the past and look forward to the future which may have to be dealt with differently to the way she has always done things. |

She is a Capricorn with a Virgo moon and no signature. In fact she has a very well-balanced chart. The main "peculiarity" is that most of her planets fall between 25 and 28 degrees of their respective signs, which means that Kirstie's life is either very quiet, or dull, or everything happens at once. There will be years when she will wonder what on earth can possibly happen next, and others which will just slip away into oblivion. Because of this "clustering" effect, most of her planets are in aspect to one another, and she has one of those "super" planetary patterns between the sun, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, into which Pluto and Mars are also drawn. The strength of this pattern will depend on exactly how it is positioned in her chart, but I would say that Kirstie often gets carried away by her imagination. She will get ideas and insist on carrying them through without considering the consequences, or even whether they are really as great as she thinks they are. She may also be prone to moods of depression over imagined slights, or feelings of inadequacy, and just when everyone else is trying to pull her out of it, she'll bounce back up without warning, casually dismissing any problems. Pluto will trigger that pattern in a very positive way over the next few years, which means she will be able to use its energies in a very positive and dynamic way -- and overcome the problems it may cause in her everyday life. She will have the opportunity to transform herself by understanding her own strengths and weaknesses, accepting the latter and using the former. This will prepare her for a very difficult time coming up in about three years. |
